I found a ukulele instructor at the Guitar Doctor in Whitman, MA. Nice guy and a graduate from Berkley. I've been noodling around for years and now I can get some REAL instruction.
he charges $25.00 a half hour and right now only teaches on Tuesday.
i live in Abington and would like to join your group.
i have a front porch on a semi quiet street. The porch is 8 feet wide that wraps around the front of the house.

Hello and pardon the intrusion to post this here, if I may. Sorry didn't include you in the initial post on May 17 to various local Northern VA & MD Facebook pages.

Looking to bring MaxUke to the East Coast. Why not to the DC area since it has lots of advantages, one is density of ukulele enthusiasts within an 8 hour drive, in addition to having 3 airports.

So, some of you have seen the videos of me as a member of Luongo Ukulele Experience (LUE) Ensemble. A commitment to be a member for sure but if you want to see if you would want to, that can be done through MaxUke. It's a 1 day intensive course. I can assure you that you would like it and if it really bites you, you'll want more.

If you have questions you can always ask the email that's on the link or myself. To get MaxUke brought here to DC metro area, we need 50 committed and paid attendees. Let me know if you're interested. I know by name, 26 ukulele aficionados in the DC Metro area who would love to attend.

Based on my recent discussions with Peter Luongo, the 50 possible students would be split across two days, hopefully evenly. Share if you can.

I leave Friday (Jun 15) for Reno to discuss with Peter Luongo at the LUE Ensemble rehearsal we have this weekend.

Hello my fellow ukulele players! I am playing a set of cover songs at Arlington Porchfest (1-2) and Brookline Porchfest (5-6) on 9 June. I'm looking for someone who can play fingerpicking solos/riffs on three or four songs. The riffs are fairly easy, and I can supply you with notations and am available for practice. I will have a tip jar and will split tips with the soloist. Please comment or DM me if you're available! ... See MoreSee Less
